Today, we're launching a new custom cup engraving service — and it might just be the most personal thing we've ever offered.
The idea is simple. You send us a drawing. We turn it into a laser-etched design on one of our vacuum insulated stainless steel cups. The result is a completely unique, one-of-a-kind gift that tells a story no mass-produced product ever could.
You Don't Need to Be an Artist
This is the part we want to be really clear about: you don't need any artistic talent for this to work beautifully. We're not looking for masterpieces, we're looking for meaning. A pair of initials inside a love heart, a child's drawing of the family dog, a simple mountain outline, a date that matters. The more personal it is, the better the end result will feel.

The key is keeping things bold and simple. A thick black pen — a Sharpie or felt tip works perfectly — on clean white paper is all you need. We've even created a template you can print out and draw straight onto, so there's no guesswork about sizing or shape. Once you're happy with your drawing, a photo on your phone is all it takes.
We take that image, convert it into a vector file, and use our 60W MOPA laser to permanently etch it into the flat panel of the cup. The engraving area is 38mm high and wraps right around the circumference — so there's plenty of room for something meaningful. And because it's laser-etched directly into the stainless steel, it won't fade, chip, or wash off. These cups are fully dishwasher safe, and your design will stay as sharp in ten years as the day it was made.

A Gift That Gets Better in a Group
One of our favourite ideas for this service: if you're buying a set of cups for a big birthday, a wedding, or a family camping trip, get a different person to design each cup. Have the kids draw their own, ask close friends to contribute — suddenly a set of four cups becomes a record of the people who matter most. That's a gift that tells a whole story without a single word.
The engraving service costs £12 per order, which covers as many individual designs as you want across the whole order. And if you ever come back for more cups using the same artwork, there's no charge to reuse it.
How to Order: A Step-by-Step Guide
Ordering is straightforward. Here's exactly how it works:
Step 1 — Choose your cups. Pick whichever product you'd like engraved. The service works across any of our cups — individual cups, our 2, 3, 4 or 5-cup Expedition Sets, or our Cups & Flask Gift Sets. Add your chosen product to your basket.
Step 2 — Add the Custom Cup Engraving service. Head to the Custom Cup Engraving product page and add it to your basket alongside your cups. It's priced at £12 per order regardless of how many designs you're adding.
Step 3 — Checkout as normal. Complete your order and pay in the usual way.
Step 4 — Send us your artwork. When your order confirmation email arrives, simply reply to it and attach your drawing. A high-quality phone photo of a drawing on paper works brilliantly — or scan it if you have access to a scanner. If you want multiple designs on different cups, just attach them all to the same email. We'll match each one to a different cup.
Step 5 — We get to work. We'll process your image and get it engraved, which typically takes 3–4 working days. Once it's done, we'll send your cups out via your chosen delivery method — Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 — and you'll receive a shipping notification with tracking details.
Not Happy? We'll Sort It.
We're a small family business and we care deeply about every order that leaves us. If for any reason you're not delighted with the engraving, we'll redo it until you are — or offer you a full refund. No arguments, no faff.
