From the 3rd to the 6th of September we'll be in the shopping village at Defender Burghley Horse Trials, on stand D6. Four days at Burghley House, several hundred acres of Lincolnshire parkland, and some of the best eventing in the world going on over the hedge. If you're coming, please do stop by and say hello.
It feels faintly ridiculous to mention Christmas while the summer's barely packed away. But there is something to be said for getting it out of the way in a field in September, coffee in hand, rather than on a wet afternoon in December when everything good has sold out.
We'll have our engraver on the stand with us, running all four days. Choose a cup set, tell us what you'd like on it — a name, a set of initials, a date, the horse's name — and we'll engrave it there and then. Go and walk the cross-country course while we do it, and it'll be wrapped and waiting when you come back.
It's also one of the first proper outings for our new Wanderer cup sets, including the beautiful British Wildlife set.
