DESIGN & ENGRAVING
The hardwood handle is engraved with the contours of The Cheviot, Northumberland’s highest peak, faithfully reproduced from a 1924 Ordnance Survey map.
It’s a subtle tribute to high ground and the paths through them, etched into a tool that’s built to last.
BLADE & FUNCTION
The 2.5" stainless steel blade is sharp, compact, and UK legal for everyday carry.
It’s tough enough for camp chores and precise enough for lunch prep, earning its place in your pocket day after day.
Stainless steel is easy to look after - just dry and clean it after each use and it will last for a lifetime.
HERITAGE
Knives have been made under the Eye Witness name in Sheffield since 1838, when John Taylor registered the mark after nearly two decades of blade making in the city.
Today, the company's still based in Sheffield and is now proudly owned by an Employee Trust, keeping the craft where it belongs.

First off the handle design is stunning. Living in Northumberland it’s lovely to have a piece of the topography with me every day. The knife has become my new daily carry and I'm really impressed with it. The size is perfect for a pocket, and it's really sturdy for everyday tasks. What really stands out is how well-made it feels for through all I've thrown at it. It's one of those simple tools that just works exactly as you'd hope.
