I am a collector of pocket knife and in particular Sheffield made ones and I have several of Taylors Eye Witness knifes both new and old and the Cheviot one is of the normal very high standard you expect from this company. Absolutely amazing knife, it sits so well in the hand and pocket. Had engraving which has stood up to use. Takes an edge and keeps it well, better than any previous pen knife I’ve owned. Customer service, packaging and attention to detail are 100%. I often don’t give a review on products that are right because I more often review a bad experience. On this occasion I could not ignore the quality of this product and service.

I ordered for myself the Cheviot and within a week took delivery of the perfect pocket knife. Apart from it being a useful object it must be the most tactile object I own. I had mine engraved and loved it so much I ordered one for my brother PFH and another for my cousin MF. His I will deliver when I attend his wedding in New Zealand in April.I cannot recommend the company or the knife highly enough. A pleasure to own and first rate customer service.

I ordered the Cheviot pocket knife as I was attracted to the simple yet interesting design. It arrived within two days and when seen in the flesh it was better than I expected. I had it personally engraved which is very neat and adds a nice personal touch.

I like Gentleman’s pocket knife. A hark back to simpler yet practical times when a primary tool was a knife. I have a collection of UK legal pocket knives and as soon as I saw this one I thought yep, this is for me.
I ordered one as soon as I could and ordering, acknowledgment and delivery was functional and efficient.
The packaging was interesting and product superb. The knife operation is smooth and positive and it feels great in the hand. The decoration note worthy, and a conversation starter.
The blade appears good quality and the edge comes sharp. I anticipate longevity and the knife gives me choices for my EDC.
Really great customer service - so good to have personal contact from a small company - this is missing in so many large corporations, the item sold is really well made and I enjoy the fact I can actually locate this and go to see it.. I’d like to see more of them made for uk locations , it would make a great yearly purchase item for family and friends- a tool , a place to visit and a collection eventually
