Why We Made This
Tired of forgotten corkscrews, and cutlery rattling around in a Tupperware box, we wanted a grand-and-go kit that was always ready whenever the mood struck us to take our food outside.
Individual pockets keep everything secure so you can roll it, stow it and forget about it until you need it. Then unroll it and everything's there. Compact enough for your rucksack but complete enough to serve a 3 course meal wherever you find yourself.
What's Inside
The mess kit contains 4 sets of stainless steel cutlery (knife, fork, dessert spoon) plus space for more if needed. Then we’ve got a classic waiter’s friend corkscrew and bottle opener, wood handled Opinel paring knife, stainless steel tongs for cooking and serving up, plus a long-handled lighter to get that bbq or campfire going.
It’s been designed to be adaptable with a good mix of pocket sizes, so you can swap out the included utensils depending on what you need.
The Craft
Each mess kit is sewn here in the UK from Halley Stevensons waxed cotton, finished with a herringbone cotton tie strap. Every item in the kit has been chosen for its functionality and longevity, meaning you’ll still be using it for years to come.
