Engraved Hatchet Gift Set

This is a great axe for camping and fires down the beach. It comes in a keepsake wooden gift box, with a high quality leather sheath, axe sharpening stone and axe balm (a protective wax that conditions wooden tool handles).

The axe is made by Adler, who have been making axes in Germany for over 100 years. The axe head is forged from high carbon steel (which means it's strong and easy to sharpen), with an American Hickory handle.

It's the perfect weight and size to use one handed, and is ideal for splitting logs into kindling for your camp fire. The poll (flat edge on the back of the axe head) can also be used as a hammer to drive in your tent pegs.

The hatchet comes with a heavy duty vegetable tanned leather sheath, which securely fastens round the back of the handle - keeping it safe for transport.

As it is, this is already a fantastic gift, but if you want to make it extra special then we can engrave initials onto the side of the axe head - making it a gift that they will remember every time they use it for decades to come. All engraving is done here in our Tynemouth workshop, before it's packed and posted out.
